In 2020, AVOW brought together 12 local women – four Republicans, four Democrats, and four independents – to discuss controversial issues of the day and attempt to find common ground despite their differences. Their yearlong journey is a remarkable example of mutual respect and understanding. The women were interviewed by WANE -TV 15 reporter Alyssa Ivanson and excerpts were aired.
